Student Christian Organization Trip

On Saturday, October 12th, 2024, members of Wasambo Boys High School's Scom (Student Christian Organization) had the opportunity to participate in an exciting Inter-Schools Scom Fellowship at CCAP Karonga Girls Secondary. We left school at 8:20 am and arrived at our destination by 10:30 am, just in time for the start of the program. The event lasted until 2:30 pm, filled with an inspiring lineup of activities that helped foster a spirit of unity and creativity among the students.

The fellowship featured various talent displays, including dancing, singing spiritual songs, Bible quizzes, poems, and drama performances. It was a vibrant celebration of the gifts and abilities within our community. Students had the chance to share their talents while also receiving the word of God, which reinforced the importance of spiritual growth alongside our creative expressions. The activities were not only fun but also served as valuable learning experiences, helping students develop skills in teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.

Our participation in this fellowship was a reminder of the importance of being well-rounded individuals—responsible citizens who embrace both faith and creativity. Our dedicated patrons, Mr. A. Banda and Mr. R. Manda, who escorted students and ensured everything ran smoothly, made the event even more special. This trip not only allowed our students to bond with their fellow students but also gave them a chance to learn and grow together as we prepare to be leaders in our communities.
