The Angelical Patrol: Strengthening Faith Through Fellowship

On a remarkable day at Wasambo Boys High School (WBHS), (SCOM) hosted a special gathering with their sisters in Christ from Karonga Girls Secondary School. This event, known as The Angelical Patrol, was more than just a meeting—it was a powerful moment of spiritual connection, learning, and worship.

The primary goal of the patrol was to share the Word of Christ and encourage each other on how to conduct themselves as believers and submit fully to Christ. This gathering was filled with impactful activities, including singing, preaching, prayers, and even dramatic performances. The boys of WBHS amazed their guests with their active participation, showing that they, too, can embrace artistic expression for the glory of God.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was when a visiting sister, Distro Sichela, emotionally remarked, "Boys, you can act!" Her words reflected the deep impression the boys had made through their dramatic presentations, proving that faith can be expressed in many creative ways.

This was not the first time WBHS SCOM had received a visit from another school, but it was another opportunity to learn and grow. The Karonga Girls Secondary School SCOM team emphasized the theme of purity—what it means to be pure in Christ, the importance of maintaining purity, and how to live a life that reflects Christ's teachings.

SCOM’s main theme this year is “Pressing Towards the Goal with Christ.” As WBHS students who are part of SCOM, our ultimate wish is to put Wasambo Boys High School on the map—not just in academics but also in spiritual excellence. We also hope that the school administration continues to support SCOM, recognizing its role in shaping young minds for Christ. As Scripture reminds us, "If you reject me, I will reject you before my Father."

A special thank you goes to the administration of WBHS for including SCOM as an essential part of school life. Through this support, we, as SCOM members, firmly believe that Wasambo will continue to transform lives spiritually. May the good Lord keep blessing our school and Wasambo as a whole!
